Prof. Maode MA

Prof. Maode Ma, a Fellow of IET, received his Ph.D. degree from Department of Computer Science in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1999. Now, Dr. Ma is a Research Professor in the College of Engineering at Qatar University in Qatar. Before joining Qatar University, he has been a faculty member at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore for over 20 years. He has extensive research interests including network security and wireless networking. He has led 26 research projects funded by government, industry, military and universities in various countries. He has supervised more than 20 research students to get their Ph. D degrees. He has been a conference chair, technical symposium chair, tutorial chair, publication chair, publicity chair and session chair for over 100 international conferences. He has been a member of the technical program committees for more than 200 international conferences. Dr. Ma has more than 450 international academic publications including over 220 journal papers and more than 230 conference papers. He has edited a few technical books and produced over 28 book chapters. His publication has received over 7200 citations in Google Scholar. He has delivered over 80 keynote speeches and 10 tutorials at various international conferences. He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Computer and Communication Engineering and Journal of Communications. He also serves as a Senior Editor for IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, and an Associate Editor for International Journal of Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing and International Journal of Communication Systems. Dr. Ma is a senior member of IEEE Communication Society and a member of ACM. He is now the Chair of the ACM, Singapore Chapter.
Assoc. Prof. Xiaogang Liu

Assoc. Prof. Xiaogang Liu acquired his PhD degree from the University of Queensland and currently is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the School of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering at Wuhan University of Technology. He has chaired two scientific research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has been serving the academic community by reviewing papers for some SCI journals, including Wear, Journal of Sound and Vibration, Measurement, Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, Tribology International etc. He is also chairing a provincial teaching research project in Hubei province about Mechanical Manufacturing Technology, and he was recognized as Fellow of Higher Education Academy in 2018. His academic achievements include academic papers, invention patents and software copyrights in the research topics of Contact Mechanics, Intelligent Manufacturing, Mechanical Vibration and Electromechanical Control etc, and he was recognized as Senior member of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society in 2021. As an acknowledgement to his academic contribution, he was awarded the “T A Stewart-Dyer Prize/Frederick Harvey Trevithick Prize” by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in London.
Prof. Xiaofang Yuan

Prof. Xiaofang Yuan is a PhD, Professor and PhD supervisor. Mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research on intelligent control theory and application, electric vehicle control, etc. Presided over more than 10 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China General Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Program, China Postdoctoral Special Funding Program, Hunan Science and Technology Program, and Doctoral Program Fund of the Ministry of Education.
